12,159 violations of UN-brokered truce in Yemen recorded during 98 days

PROVINCES, Jul. 09 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led coalition forces continued to violate the UN-brokered humanitarian and military truce in Yemen the 98th consecutive day with 12,159 violations.

A military source in Sanaa confirmed on Saturday that the coalition forces committed 126 violations of the humanitarian and military truce, during the past 24 hours.

A source explained that the violations included 22 violations by the flight of armed reconnaissance and spy planes in the airspace of the provinces of Marib, Hajjah, Jawf, Saada, Dhalea, Hodeida and Bayda, and the fronts beyond the border.

The source confirmed the monitoring of two violations by the coalition forces that created fortifications in Mastour farm in Al-Jabaliya area of Al-Tuhita district in Hodeida and in the vicinity of the city of Marib.

He indicated that 82 breaches were monitored by shooting at citizens’ homes and positions of Sanaa forces in Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Dhalea, Hodeidah, and Bayda and the fronts beyond the border.

The coalition forces also committed 20 violations by artillery shelling on the position of Sanaa forces in Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Hodeida, and the fronts beyond the border in Najran region.
