Traffic congestion disappears in Sanaa on first day of Eid al-Adha
SANAA, Jul. 09 (YPA) – The capital, Sanaa, witnessed easiness in vehicles traffic away from the manifestations of congestion and traffic jams on Saturday, the first day of Eid al-Adha.
This is due to the efforts of traffic police officers and personnel and the rest of the security and military units involved in organizing and facilitating traffic.
The Director General of Traffic in the capital, Colonel Ahmed Al-Qahoum, confirmed in a press statement that nearly 3,000 officers and personnel of traffic police participated in the implementation of the plan to facilitate movement in the streets of the capital on the first day of Eid Al-Adha.
He called on citizens and drivers to cooperate with traffic personnel to make the plan a success and to overcome traffic jams that impede the movement of vehicles and citizens.
