Commander of US Air Force holds military talks in Saudi Arabia

SANAA, July. 05 (YPA) – The commander of the army of the Air at United States Central Command, Lieutenant-General Gregory Qiu, visited on Monday the Saudi King Fahd Air Base, and held talks with Saudi military leaders.

The Saudi Ministry of Defense stated, in a statement, that “Qiu” met with Lieutenant-General Turki bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, where they discussed “issues of common interest.

King Fahd Air Base is a Saudi base belonging to the Royal Air Force, located in the Taif province, and it shares some facilities such as runways with Taif International Airport.

In the same month, the Saudi Ministry of Defense announced the conclusion of the “Eagle-22” exercise in the US state of Colorado, with the participation of the Saudi armed forces.
