169 violations of humanitarian, military truce recorded in Yemen

SANAA, Jul. 05 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition forces and their mercenaries have committed 169 violations of the humanitarian and military truce, the official Yemeni news agency Saba reported on Monday,
citing a military source.

According to the military source, the violations included 48 armed reconnaissance aircrafts flew over Marib, Taiz, Jawf, Hajjah, Saada, Hodeida and Dhalea provinces and border fronts.

The source affirmed that two breaches were recorded by establishing combat fortifications in surrounds of Marib city and an infiltration attempt at the army’s sites in Hawmrah area of Taiz.

Five breaches were recorded by air strikes of reconnaissance planes at citizens’ homes and army’s sites in north and west of Hays district in Hodeida.

He also said that 33 violations by an artillery shelling were recorded at the army’s sites in Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Hodeida and border fronts.

The source mentioned that an artillery bombing attacked the army’s sites in Al-Balq Al-Sharqi, Al-Akd and Mala’ areas of Marib, Haradh and Bani Hassan areas of Hajjah, Al-Malaheedh, Al-Madafin areas and Munabeh district in Saada and north of Hays district in Hodeida.

The source added that an artillery bombardment targeted the army’s sites in AlSakhra area of Asir, Al-Amood in Wadi Jara and Jabal Twailq of Jizan.

In addition, the source declared that 81 breaches were recorded, with heavy shooting at citizens’ homes and sites of the army and popular committees in Marib, Hajjah, Taiz, Saada, Hodeida, Bayda, Dhalea and border fronts.
