Southern factions plan to sue ex-president’s nephew “Tariq Saleh”

SANAA, June 22 (YPA) – Southern factions involved in the western coast battle have prepared a series of files on what they described as “treason of Tariq Saleh group” in preparation for submitting them to the judiciary, military sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The files included complaints about the failure of the UAE-backed Tariq force to carry out the tasks entrusted to it in several operations, resulting in heavy losses among the southern factions since they entered the coast battle on April 14, according to the sources.

Among those complaints is that the artillery force led by Tariq Saleh had deliberately bombed southern combatants during carrying out offensive operations in various locations on the western coast.

The southern forces have filed several complaints to the UAE command in Saudi-led coalition about the violations committed by Tariq Saleh group against the southern fighters, but the Emirati side did not respond to any complaints.

It is worth mentioning that an atmosphere of suspicion and mistrust prevails among the pro-coalition armed groups, and problems of distrust usually arise with each defeat suffered by those groups in the western coast.
