Islah gunmen loot lawyer’s car in Taiz

TAIZ, Jun. 13 (YPA) – Gunmen believed to be affiliated with Islah Party on Monday looted a lawyer’s car in the center of Taiz city, southwest Yemen.

The lawyer Ihab Al-Dahbali said in a press statement that he was interrupted while driving at “Al-Awadhi” intersection by armed men, who claimed that they had orders from the Security Directorate.

He added that the gunmen opened the door of his car by force of arms, and tried to kidnap him along with one of his sons, “Ahmed”, who was next to him.

Al-Dahbali indicated that he managed to escape from inside the car, while the gunmen took the car and fled to an unknown destination.
