218 violations of UN-declared truce recorded in Yemen

SANAA, Jun. 11 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition forces and their mercenaries have committed 218 violations of the humanitarian and military truce, the official Yemeni news agency Saba reported on Saturday, citing a military source.

According to the military source, 58 armed reconnaissance aircrafts flew over Marib, Jawf, Taiz, Saada Hajjah, Dhalea, Bayda and border fronts.

The source affirmed that new combat fortifications were created in surround of Marib city and the mercenaries carried out an infiltration attempt at the army’s sites in Tabat Al-Hnajir of Al-Fakhir area in Dhalea, pointing out that the mercenaries also carried out two offensives at the army in Al-Balq Al-Sharqi and Rawdhat Jahanam areas of Marib.

He also said that 44 violations by an artillery and missile shelling were recorded, while five Katyusha rockets were launched at the army’s sites in Al-Balq Al-Sharqi and Rawdhat Jahanam areas of Marib.

The source mentioned that an artillery bombing targeted the army’s sites in Al-Balq Al-Sharqi, Al-Rawdha, Malaa and Rawdhat Jahanam areas of Marib, Haradh and Bani Hassan areas of Hajjah, Al-Malaheedh area of Saada and Bab Ghalq of Dhalea.

The source pointed out that the mercenaries bombarded the army’s sites in Al-Amood area of Wadi Jara in Jizan region.

In addition, the source declared that 112 breaches were recorded, with heavy shooting at citizens’ homes and sites of the army and popular committees in Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Dhalea and border fronts.
