Iranian FM: West asked to recognize Zionist entity to solve outstanding files

TEHRAN, Jun.09 (YPA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahian said Wednesday that the West required Tehran to recognize the Zionist entity and stop supporting the Palestinian cause to resolve outstanding issues under the nuclear deal.

“In private meetings and talks, they asked us to stop supporting Palestine to ease the pressures associated with the nuclear file,” Abdullahian was quoted by Iranian media as saying.

“We have been asked to recognize the Zionist entity in order to declare that there was no problem between Iran and the United States.”

“Iran has not abandoned its Islamic principles despite the pressures of the enemies,” he said.
