Iranian navy seizes two Greek oil tankers in Persian Gulf

TEHRAN, May 27 (YPA) – The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy seized on Friday two oil tankers belonging to Greece in the Persian Gulf.

In a statement, The Public Relations of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said that the seizure of two Greek oil tankers took place in the waters of the Persian Gulf.

The seizure of two Greek oil tankers in gulf waters was in response to Greece’s piracy on an Iranian oil tanker and the confiscation of its cargo for the United States.
