Coalition transfers Military Faculty’s headquarters from Aden to Marib

MARIB, May 23 (YPA) – The Saudi-led coalition transferred the headquarters of Military Faculty from Aden city, south of Yemen, to Marib province.

Media sources confirmed that the coalition authorities in Marib chose the headquarters of the “Second Presidential Protection Brigade” in the city of Marib as the headquarters of the college.

The sources said that the decision to transfer the Military College from Aden to Marib came under pressures exerted by the UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias rejecting any institutions to include the sons of the northern provinces in Aden.

Earlier, a memorandum was issued by the Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Defense of the “Coalition-backed government” on May 14, stipulating the transfer of the Military College from Aden to Marib.

Other some said the College in Marib opened its doors for registration a week after the coalition decided to transfer it.
