SANAA, May 21 (YPA) – Lahj governor, Ahmed Hammoud Juraib, stressed that Yemeni unity would be the greatest achievement made by the Yemeni people in modern Yemeni history.
In a news statement, the governor indicated that the unity was the result of the will of the people in the south and north and is one of the national gains that cannot be neglected, despite the treachery it was subjected to by the previous regime in the summer of 1994.
He accused the loyalists of the countries of Saudi-led coalition who ruled Yemen under the supervision of the Saudi embassy of distorting this historical achievement.
The governor stated that the suffering of the people of the southern provinces resulting from the injustice of the 7/7 regime requires justice until now.
He said, “The orientation of the revolution leadership represented by Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi and President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, to do justice to the southern cause.”
Juraib called on the southern people to reject the new colonizers and invaders who occupied the south and turned it into the spoils of a new war, considering the presence of the 7/7 regime today in Al-Ma’ashiq Palace in Aden as evidence of the danger of the aggression countries’ projects and its conspiracies against the south, its wealth, security and stability.
