Al-Hamali: Humanitarian Affairs Council is keen to implement development projects in Taiz

SANAA, May 21 (YPA) – The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs, Ibrahim Al-Hamali, affirmed on Saturday the council’s keenness to follow up the organizations to implement sustainable development projects in Taiz province.

This came during his meeting with Taiz governor, Salah Bajash, about the province’s needs for service and development projects.

Al-Hamali indicated that the council would work with the international organizations to direct funds towards implementing projects to include relief, humanitarian and service aspects in line with the actual need of the community.

For his part, Taiz governor praised the council’s role and its contribution to alleviating the suffering of citizens as a result of the humanitarian crisis caused by the aggression and siege, by directing organizations’ support to service and development projects in the province.

The meeting reviewed the projects included in the province’s needs plan in the sectors of roads, water, environment, health, education, hygiene and others.
