First national conference for Awqaf concluded in Sanaa

SANAA, May 18 (YPA) – The first national conference for Awqaf, organized by the General Authority for Awqaf under the slogan “Together towards strategic transformation in Awqaf work”, was concluded Thursday in the capital Sanaa.

The conference discussed over four days 22 research papers and scientific papers, submitted by a number of university professors, academics and scientists, in addition to five scientific workshops on educational, media, legislative, legal, economic, endowment investment, development, innovation, financial and administrative aspects.

The conclusion session included a presentation on the achievements of the Awqaf Authority and the recommendations and outputs of the conference.
