SANAA, May 10 (YPA) – Deputy head of the Sanaa negotiating delegation, Lieutenant-General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, said on Tuesday that the Saudi-led coalition’s countries was continuing to undermine the UN-announced truce.
Al-Ruwaishan indicated in a press statement that the humanitarian truce is about to expire, and the Yemeni people have not felt any impact on the humanitarian aspects.
“The coalition countries are violating the armistice daily, only replacing the warplanes with the drones, and these violations are being documented and reporting to the Office of the UN envoy and the international community”, he added.
“We hope that in the remainder of the armistice period, there will be seriousness and credibility on the part of the coalition to abide by the humanitarian aspect of the armistice,” he explained.
Lieutenant-General Al-Ruwaishan stated that releasing Yemeni detainees in Saudi Arabia under the name “Prisoners” was part of the propaganda war and a continuation of escaping from the entitlements of the prisoners’ file.
