ADEN, April 26 (YPA) – Britain has sent new military reinforcements to the Yemeni coast.
The Western Joint Forces in the Gulf said, on Twitter, that the British frigate “T-23” arrived at the Gulf of Aden,, south of Yemen, confirming that the British battleship began its missions on April 20.
The joint foreign forces indicated that the frigate would work to support the joint task force known as “CTF”, under the allegations of maritime navigation in the region.
The British move came at a time when the United States reinforced its presence with the mutual Western powers in the Yemeni territorial waters, in recent weeks, after the American forces conducted joint naval patrols in the Red and Arab Bahrain.
These developments also came in light of British efforts to restore its colonial role in the southern provinces under the cover of the Saudi-Emirati coalition, after establishing a military base in Mahra, in the east of the country.
