US FM: Use of force will not reduce Iran’s nuclear program

SANAA, April 26 (YPA) – United States Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, said that the use of force against Iran would not reduce its nuclear program, pointing out that Tehran might reach the production of a nuclear warhead within weeks.

“The conclusion reached by our armed forces is that force can lead to a decline in Iran’s nuclear program, but Tehran will restore it using underground nuclear facilities and faster,”
he explained in a statement during a hearing at the US Congressional Foreign Affairs Committee.

He warned: “If an agreement is not reached with Iran for limiting its nuclear development, this will lead to a domino effect in the Middle East.
