Coalition forces violate UN-declared truce 164 times

SANAA, April 26 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition forces and their mercenaries have committed 164 violations of the humanitarian and military truce, the official Yemeni news agency Saba reported on Tuesday, citing a military source.

According to the military source, 50 armed reconnaissance aircrafts flew over Marib, Bayda, Jawf, Hajjah, Saada and Dhalea provinces.

The mercenaries created new combat fortifications in west of Haradh district in Hajjah and carried an offensive at the Yemeni army’s sites in Raghwan district of Marib, the source added.

He also confirmed that 33 violations by missile and artillery shelling were recorded, while seven Katyusha rockets hit the army’s sites in Al-Amood, Serwah and Al-Balq Al-Sharqi, Al-Akd, Al-Jouba, Rawdha, Jahm, Ladhaa and Yaarah areas of Marib.

The source pointed out that an artillery shelling targeted sites of the Yemeni army in Haradh district of Hajjah, Al-Balq Al-Sharqi, Al-Akd and Raghwan areas of Marib, Al-Dhaher, Al-Madafin and Al-Malaheedh areas of Saada.

In addition, the source declared that 79 breaches were recorded, with heavy shooting at citizens’ homes and sites of the army and popular committees in Marib, Jawf, Bayda, Hajjah, Saada, Taiz and Dhalea.
