Shura Council denounces storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque by Zionist entity

SANAA, April 16 (YPA) – Yemen’s Shura Council strongly denounced on Saturday the storming of
Islamic sanctities in occupied Palestine by the usurping Zionist entity and its assault on worshipers at the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The council deplored also in a statement the terrorist practices of the Zionist occupation soldiers against the Palestinian people and the desecration of Islamic sanctities in a blatant provocation of Muslims’ feelings.

The statement stressed that these criminal practices revealed the weakness of the usurping Zionist entity in confronting the bravery of defenseless worshipers of the Palestinian people.

It affirmed the firm and principled stance of the Republic of Yemen in support of the Palestinian cause, the central issue of the nation, and Palestinian people’s choices in the face of Zionist arrogance.

The Council called on all the factions and movements of resistance in Palestine to stand united to defend Palestinian people, its cause and holy places of Arabic and Islamic nation.

On Friday, the Israeli entity forces stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque using tear gas shells and sound bombs, injuring at least 59 Palestinians in the clashes.
