Sanaa forces target ship ‘Magic Seas’ in Red Sea

SANAA, July 27 (YPA) – The SAnaa-based armed forces of Yemen announced on Monday that it had targeted the ship ‘Magic Seas’ in the Red Sea.

Military spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahiya Sarie said in a statement the ship was targeted with two unmanned boats, five ballistic and cruise missiles, and three drones.

“The ship was attacked after being violated the ban on entry to occupied Palestinian ports,” he added.

The spokesman clarified the ship was directly hit, causing water to leak into and it is currently at risk of sinking, adding the armed forces allowed its crew to safely leave.

Brig. Gen. Sarie noted that the operation, which took place in the Red Sea, came after calls and warnings were issued by the Yemeni naval forces to the aforementioned ship, but that its crew rejected all warnings.

He reiterated that the armed forces that would not hesitate to use appropriate force to prevent any vessel belonging to this company that has dealt with the Zionist enemy and violated the ban on access to the ports of occupied Palestine.”

“The company’s vessels is a legitimate target for the armed forces wherever they could reach, and the company holds full responsibility,” he warmed.

“The military operations will be continued to target the depth of the Israeli entity in occupied Palestine, as well as to prevent Israeli navigation in the Red and Arabian Seas and disrupt the Umm al-Rashrash port, until the aggression on Gaza is stopped and the siege lifted,” spokesman said.
