Ministry of Human Rights welcomes any truce achieving peace

SANAA, April 13 (YPA) – Ministry of Human Rights in Sanaa welcomed on Wednesday any truce injecting blood and drawing the features of true peace in Yemen.

The ministry expressed in a statement its regret for the failure of the Saudi-led coalition countries to abide by the UN-sponsored truce, which has threatened and impeded peace efforts.

“The real peace intentions lie in stopping the war, lifting the siege, entering oil derivatives ships, as well as initiating an executive mechanism to pay the salaries of state employees,” the statement added.

It called on the United Nations to play its role in correcting previous mistakes, given that its primary goal is to protect civilians, open Sanaa International Airport, and lift the siege, which has not achieved as drawn for in the truce, which requires the United Nations and the international community to directly intervene in obligating the countries of the coalition to carry out.

The statement held the coalition countries responsible for protecting civilians and obstructing peace efforts.
