SANAA, April 03 (YPA) – German Economy Minister Robert Habeck has said that a ban on energy supplies from Russia will put an end to Germany’s economic boom.
Habeck told ZDF television that there is no infrastructure in Germany to import gas and oil in other ways (i.e. other than Russia).
If Russia refuses to supply Germany with energy, it would threaten to shut down the world’s largest chemical company, BASF, he said.
He also warned that in addition, the lack of energy resources threatened the risk of energy companies migrating abroad, for example to Asia.
