Report: Army steps up offensives against Saudi-led coalition militiamen in battle fronts

SANAA, June 18 (YPA) – The Yemeni army stepped up offensives against on Saudi-led coalition militiamen in various battle fronts over the past 24 hours, killing and wounding dozens, a military official told Yemen Press Agency on Monday.

In Jizan governorate, the army fired a ballistic missile, Badr 1, towards al-Mustahdath camp.

In Asir governorate, the army launched Katyusha rockets on groups of the coalition and its militiamen, causing heavy casualties.

In the western coast front, the army destroyed over 44 military vehicles of the militiamen and cut off reinforcement on the militiamen by the army.

In also western coast, dozens of were killed and hundreds wounded have evacuated by the coalition forces across the sea, the militiamen were in a state of great discontent as a result of the siege and cutting off the reinforcement that imposed by the army in al-Fazah, al-Jah and al-Majailas areas.

In Najran province, the army foiled attempt to infiltrate towards al-Dhaiq area off al-Khadra crossing point and al-Sudis site, killing and wounding dozens.

In Saada, the army hit a military vehicle of the militiamen in al-Buqa desert and killed its crew.

In Lahj province, the army hit groups of the militiamen in Karash district, hitting the target directly.

In Jawf province, the army destroyed a military vehicle of the militiamen and killed its crew members in Kabu Washaf district.

In Bayda province, the army repelled an attempt of the militiamen’s attack towards Nata front and destroyed a military vehicle of the militiamen, killing and wounding dozens.
