After Yemeni peace initiative, Abdulsalam sends important call to Saudi regime
SANAA, March 26 (YPA) – Head of the Sanaa negotiating delegation, Mohammed Abdulsalam, on Saturday called on the Saudi regime to prove its seriousness in achieving peace in Yemen.
This comes after a unilateral initiative announced this evening by President of the Supreme Political Council in Sanaa, Mahdi Al-Mashat, to suspend missile and drone strikes and all military actions towards Saudi Arabia by land, sea and air for three days.
“The positive interaction with the Yemeni initiative announced by President al-Mashat and responding to a ceasefire, lifting the siege and expelling foreign forces from Yemen, then peace will come,” Abdulsalam said, in a tweet on Twitter.
He pointed out that the talk about political solutions will take place in a calm atmosphere, away from any military or humanitarian pressure.
