8 militants killed in traffic accident in Shabwa

SHABWA, March 24 (YPA) – About 8 militants affiliated with the UAE-backed al-Amaliqa Brigades were killed on Thursday in a traffic accident in Shabwa province, in the southeast of Yemen.

Local sources reported that “the militants were targeted when a bus containing soldiers belonging to the Giants Brigades collided with a large vehicle belonging to the so-called the Shabwa Defense Forces, in the provincial capital, Ataq city.”

The sources stated that the accident also caused the injury of a number of soldiers, all of whom were going on vacation with their families to the province of Aden, Lahj and Abyan.
