UAE plans to carry out its first military operation south of Marib

SANAA, March 24 (YPA) – The UAE is preparing its new brigades in Marib province, carrying out its first military operation south of the city.

Local sources familiar with in Marib the matte said a plan prepared by the UAE, in coordination with its Saudi ally, to move the brigades it recently established to open a new front south of the city of Marib.

A sabotage scheme is being prepared by the UAE to enable the so-called brigades of “Happy Yemen”, which included new recruits loyal to the Emirates, reinforced by terrorist elements from the “Al-Qaeda and ISIS” organizations, to fight battles in the city, instead of the coalition forces and the Saudi-backed Islah militants, located in the city on similar to what happened recently in Shabwa province.

The sources added that the “Happy Yemen Brigades” recruits were moved from the training camps in areas the “Al-Ruwais” and Al-Abr separating the provinces of Marib and Hadramout towards the lines of contact with the Sanaa forces, in “Al-Rardha” and “Faliha” areas and Ramlet Wadi Abaidah, south of the city of Marib.

The sources indicated that the UAE, with its new move in Marib, is part of the coalition’s plans to dispense with the Islah militias in Marib.
