Saudi cash reward sparks fierce clashes in Hadramout

HADRAMOUT, March 24 (YPA) – Fierce clashes erupted on Thursday in Hadramout province, east of Yemen, local sources said.

local sources reported that the clashes that broke out between the recruits and offices in Hadramout Valley, due to due to non-payment of the Saudi cash reward that was paid to the First Military Region.

The sources explained about 50 officers and soldiers gathered in front of the house of the security director of the districts of Wadi Hadramout, Hassan Aidarous, who stopped the Saudi reward checks, demanding that they be cashed without humiliation.
