SANAA, March 19 (YPA) – Negotiations between Moscow and Kiev representatives could last several weeks, said Mikhail Podolak, an adviser to the head of Ukraine’s office.
“Negotiations could take several weeks or more,” Podoliak told Bloomberg.
“There are some concessions that we certainly will not make. We cannot give up any areas.”
Podolak said the Ukrainian side’s main demands are “a ceasefire, troop withdrawal and a political settlement on the issue of disputed territories.”
The first round of dialogue between Russia and Ukraine was held on February 28th in the Gomel region of Belarus, and the two delegations met for five hours.
The two sides then met again on March 3 and March 7 and on March 10.
Consultations were also held between the Foreign Ministers of Russia and Ukraine, Sergei Lavrov and Dmitry Koliba, on the sidelines of the diplomatic forum in Antalya, Turkey, and currently, negotiators continue to communicate via video-link meetings.
