Shabwa tribes threaten closure of all oil wells

SHABWA, March 16 (YPA) – Residents and sheikhs of Osaylan district of Shabwa, threatened on Tuesday to close all oil wells in the district of the province.

The tribes affirmed that the closure of oil wells came in response to Saudi-backed exiled Hadi’s government raising the prices of oil derivatives.

Social media websites are witnessing calls for the people of the Shabwa tribes to go to the Al-Aqla oil field and close the oil wells, in protest against the high prices of oil derivatives in the province.
