Electricity Ministry holds United Nations responsible for stopping services

SANAA, Mar. 06 (YPA) – Ministry of Electricity and Energy in Sanaa condemned on Sunday the continued detention of oil derivatives ships by the US-backed Saudi-Emirati coalition and preventing their entry to Hodeida port.

In a press statement, Minister of Electricity Ahmed Al-Elaiy, held America and the coalition countries responsible for the aggravation of the humanitarian crisis as a result of the blockade imposed against oil ships, which have led to the cessation of service sectors.

He considered the continuation of maritime piracy and the detention of fuel ships, a flagrant violation of international law and United Nations charters, and a crime of genocide against the Yemeni people.
