British journalist attacks PM Boris Johnson due to war on Yemen

SANAA, March 02 (YPA) – British political writer and journalist Dan Glazebrook has launched a verbal attack on British Prime Minister Boris Johnson regarding his remarks about the Russian President Vladimir Putin, in which Johnson had said that Putin is “prepared to kill children” in the war in Ukraine.

Commenting on the British Prime Minister’s remarks, Dan Glazebrook wrote on his Facebook page, “Johnson’s own war on Yemen has been killing a child every ten minutes for years, through the combined effects of bombing and blockade, according to Save the Children statistics.”

“Can Johnson name a single war that does not involve killing children? Including any of the 6 currently being fought by the UK (Yemen, Somalia, Iraq, Syria, Libya, and Pakistan)?”

He continued: “[War] is disgusting and barbaric by its very nature. If you don’t like it, why do you constantly wage it? And why have you gratuitously and wilfully goaded Russia into this one?”
