Violent clashes erupted among STC factions in Aden

ADEN, Feb. 24 (YPA) – Violent confrontations erupted on Thursday among the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s factions in Aden city, south of Yemen.

According to sources, deputy director of security for Dar Saad Police Department was killed during the clashes because of Qat revenues.

Aden is witnessing security chaos, widespread robbery and looting of public and private properties, and continuous confrontations between the factions affiliated with the Saudi-led coalition.
