3 convicts of drug trafficking sentence to death, imprisonment in Sanaa

SANAA, Feb. 14 (YPA) – The Specialized Criminal Court in the capital Sanaa sentenced on Sunday three convicts of drug trafficking to death and 25 years in prison.

The verdict in the session, headed by Judge Muhammad Al-Sufyani, decided to convict each of Adel Saleh Hussein Al-Atifi and Shadliq Abbad Shadliq of drug trafficking and punish them with imprisonment for a period of 25 years starting from the date of their arrest, along with the confiscation of the seizures related to the case.

The court also convicted Abdullah Salem Yahya Nasser Al-Zubaidi of the crime of drug trafficking and punished him with the death penalty, and the confiscation of the car seized in the crime.
