TEHRAN, Feb. 11 (YPA) – Iranians took to the streets on Friday to mark the 43rd anniversary of victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
The rallies on the national holiday of “Bahman 22nd” began at 9:30 am local time across Iran on Friday, attended by people from all walks of life.
People in around 1,500 cities, over 3,000 villages, 60,000 mosques and 40,000 Basij bases across the country took part in the national holiday celebration.
People of different strata attended the demonstrations on foot or with motorcycles and automobiles, waving flags of Iran and banners in support of the Islamic Republic to mark the revolution’s anniversary.
