UAE escalates its campaign to incite against Muslim community in Austria

SANAA, Feb. 04 (YPA) – UAE has escalated its campaign to incite the Muslim community in Austria and push the country’s authorities to take more hostile stances, after lavishing with large financial investments for the past two years.

Recently, the Emirati media outlets, including the “Al-Ain News” website affiliated with the intelligence services in Abu Dhabi, published a report describing the investigation file into the activities of the Muslim community in Austria.

The report was based on the decision of the Supreme Court of the city of Graz, which is the highest judicial body, issued on July 29, 2021 that “the Muslim Brotherhood is not a terrorist group, but rather is considered one of the best moderate Islamic groups.”

The outlets claimed that the Austrian authorities had been continuing investigations into about 70 suspects in the case at the present time, including “Associations and Organizations.”

On July 29, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, the de facto ruler of the Emirates, visited Austria and signed investment contracts with the country’s former chancellor of Austria, Sebastian Kurz, who submitted his final resignation from the Austrian government’s presidency and from political work finally in mid-November 2021 after his involvement in financial corruption cases.
