Canada’s Prime Minister changes residence amid security concerns over protests

SANAA, Jan. 30 (YPA) – Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has changed his place of residence amid security concerns over ongoing protests in the country over Corona restrictions, CBS reported.

“Trudeau and his family were moved from their home in Ottawa to a secret location as thousands of people descended on Canada’s capital Saturday to protest vaccine mandates for truckers and other public health restrictions,” the network quoted informed sources as saying.

Canadian media reported that thousands of truckers and other demonstrators gathered in front of the Parliament building in Ottawa to demand the dropping of mandatory vaccination and other COVID-19 restrictions.

Meanwhile, the organizers called for a peaceful march and the police have raised their alert to the highest level.
