South African president’s involves in misuse of public funds

SANAA, Jan. 30 (YPA) – A South African parliamentary committee is calling on the country’s president, Cyril Ramaphosa, to respond to allegations that public funds were used in the campaigns of his ruling African National Congress (ANC) party.

The Standing Committee on Public Accounts (SCOPA)  said Sunday that it had asked Ramaphosa to respond to a series of allegations.

Tthe Committee sent detailed questions to the President of the Republic, who is also the Chairman of the African National Congress Party, asking him to respond in writing  about the allegations of the misuse of public funds for political party purposes
