OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Jan. 25 (YPA) – A Palestinian national was died  after inhaling tear gas fired by Israeli occupation soldiers and wounded three others as occupying forces stormed the Qalandia camp north of Al-Quds (Jerusalem).

“Fahmy Hamad, 57, was killed from Qalandia camp hours after after inhaling tear gas when the occupation  forces raided  the camp this morning,” said Adnan Ghaith, governor of Al-Quds.

On Monday morning, Israeli occupation forces stormed the Qalandia refugee camp north of al-Quds, and clashes broke out between Israeli soldiers and Palestinian youths, injuring three citizens, one of whom was described as moderate, and taken to Ramallah State Hospital.

The Qalandia Palestinian refugee camp is about 10 kilometres north of the heart of the occupied city of al-Quds. It is separated by a military checkpoint about 300 metres away, which is the lifeline of the Palestinian population between the cities of Ramallah and al-Quds.
