Armed confrontations erupt in Aden

ADEN, Jan. 19 (YPA) – Armed clashes erupted on Wednesday among armed factions in the center of the city of Aden, south of Yemen.

According to sources, the clashes among the UAE-funded “Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s factions escalated near the air defense project in Bir Fadl in Dar Saad area, because of the rugs and looting of citizens’ lands.

Various types of light and medium weapons were used in the clashes.

The STC militia has continued to loot the lands and properties of the state and citizens since the Saudi-led coalition took control of the city of Aden in the second half of 2015.
