Iranian President arrives in Moscow for official visit

MOSCOW, Jan. 19 (YPA) – The Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi arrived in Moscow for an official visit at the invitation of his Russian counterpart, the Iranian news agency “IRNA” said on Wednesday.

During a brief press conference before heading to Moscow on Wednesday, Raisi said that his visit comes within the framework of promoting diplomacy with neighboring countries.

He added “The level of trade between the two countries was not satisfactory, and we hope that the visit will contribute to strengthening trade between the two countries.”
