3 killed, 4 wounded in grenade explosion in Dhalea

DHALEA, Jan. 16 (YPA) – At least three people were killed and four others injured in a mysterious explosion targeting a house in Hajar area, west of Dhalea  province, southern Yemen, local sources said on late Saturday.

According to local sources, a hand  grenade explosion targeted the house of a tribal sheikh in Hajar area, killing three, and  wounding  four others.

The wounded were taken to a hospital in Dhalea for treatment.

No further details of the incident were given. However, it comes in the context of the conflict between the military and security leaders of the coalition factions in Dhalea province.
