SHABWA, Jan. 16 (YPA) – Dozens of the UAE-funded al-Amaliqa forces were killed and wounded on Saturday in friendly airstrikes launched by Saudi-led coalition warplanes in Shabwa.
This was reported by Yemen News Portal, based on the testimonies of military sources.
The military sources confirmed that coalition aircraft targeted several military reinforcement belonging to the Al-Amaliqa’s factions in an area between the two districts of Ain and Bayhan, west of Shabwa province.
According to the sources, a number of the UAE-backed forces were killed and injured in the raids, noting that their military reinforcements had been almost completely exterminated.
