17 dead in Saudi-led airstrikes on Yemen’s Amran
AMRAN, Jan. 31 (YPA) – At least 17 civilians were killed on Wednesday and more than 20 others were wounded in Saudi-led coalition airstrikes on a bridge and a popular souk in Yemen’s northern province of Amran, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.

Saudi-led coalition warplanes waged an airstrike on al-Afra bridge and Al-Mefkhath souk, and targeted the area again with another airstrike after citizens rushed to aid the injured and recover victims, which led to the killing of 17 citizens and injuring more than 20 others.
The number of dead is expected to increase due to serious injuries of the wounded.
