4 civilians killed, 2 injured in coalition forces’ artillery shelling in Taiz

TAIZ, Jan. 08 (YPA) – At least two women and two girls were killed and two other girls were injured on Saturday due to Saudi-led coalition forces’ artillery shilling on citizens’ homes in Maqbna district in Taiz province, southwest Yemen.

A local source said that the artillery shelling targeted Rasyan valley in Maqbna district, killing two women and two girls and injuring two girls others.

The source denounced the continued targeting of civilians and the destruction of the construction in Yemen by the coalition.

He called on the United Nations and the international community to assume responsibility for putting an end to the crimes and violations committed by the coalition against the Yemeni people.
