Saudi banknotes stained with blood found in pockets of killed UAE-backed militant

SHABWAH, Jan. 08 (YPA) – Activists circulate a picture of 500 Saudi riyals found inside a pocket of one of the dead of the pro-UAE brigades of Al-Amaliqa during the fighting in Shabwah in southern Yemen.

The activists said the money was the soldier’s salary and the picture shows the banknote mixed with blood.

Activists have reacted extensively to the image, which they said sums up the curse of war, and how Saudi-led coalition keeps bribing Yemeni youth for a paltry sum and plunging them into absurd battles
