Jordanian king meets publicly Israeli occupation defense minister in Amman

AMMAN, Jan. 05 (YPA) – Jordan’s King Abdullah II met in Amman on Wednesday with Israeli occupation’s defense minister, Benny Gantz, according to the Jordanian Royal Court statement, which was reported by local media.

For its part, the office of Israeli defense minister said that Gantz met Wednesday with Jordanian King Abdullah to discuss stability in the region, indicating that the talks took place in Jordan.

According to a statement by the Jordanian Royal Court, the Jordanian monarch stressed, during the meeting, the need to maintain a comprehensive calm in the Palestinian territories and to take all necessary steps for that, in order to find a real horizon for achieving a just peace.
