Iran resumes religious tourism trips to Syria

TEHRAN, Jan. 03 (YPA) – Chairman of the Iranian Hajj and Visit Organization, Ali Reza Rashidian, announced the resumption of Iranian tourist flights to Syria, as of Sunday, January 2, 2022

“The trips of Iranian tourists will resume from today, Sunday, within convoys of 25 tourists over a period of 5 days, to visit the mausoleums of the two women, Zainab and Ruqayya in Damascus,” the Iranian Fars news agency quoted Rashidian as saying.

He added, “These flights have resumed more than two years after they were stopped due to the outbreak of the Corona virus pandemic.”
