Israeli occupation closes roads in Quneitra countryside following military incursion

DAMASCUS, Oct. 23 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces closed several roads west of the Za’rura farm, which belongs to the town of Al-Rafid in the southern Quneitra countryside in southern Syria, on Friday, following an incursion by its vehicles, restricting the movement of citizens and their access to the surrounding roads.

The Syrian Observatory stated that these measures coincide with demonstrations in several Syrian areas rejecting the occupation’s repeated attacks in the south and incursions into Syrian territory.

The Observatory noted the continued military movements of the occupying army in the Quneitra countryside, amid residents’ fears of the repercussions of road closures on their daily commutes and access to their lands.
