Army shoots down US aircraft in Jawf

JAWF, Dec. 25 (YPA) – Air defenses of the Yemeni army have shot down a US-made Scan Eagle spy plane in Jawf province, east of Yemen.

Army spokesman, Yahya Sarie, said on Twitter on Saturday, the aircraft was targeted with a suitable weapon, in the airspace of Al-Yatama area in Khab Washaf district, while carrying out hostile actions on Friday in the province.
