SANAA, June 13 (YPA) – US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that North Korean “is no longer a nuclear threat.”
The move came during a summit gathered the US President with and the North Korean’s leader Kim Jong Un in Singapore.
“There is no longer a nuclear threat from North Korea,” he said, addingthat “the meeting with Kim Jong Un was a very exciting and positive experience, and North Korea has great opportunities for the future.”
The summit was preceded by a meeting between US President Donald Trump and North Korean President Kim Jong Un , the first meeting of the two leaders in the history, on June 12 June in Singapore.
After the meeting, Trump announced that he had signed a “detailed” document with North Korea, stressing that the disarmament process on the Korean Peninsula would begin very quickly.
For his part, Kim Jong Un described the signing of the final document of the meeting with US President Donald Trump in Singapore as a new breakthrough in the relations between the two countries, and pledged that the future would see “significant changes”.
