Hadramout tribes send reinforcements to confront coalition’s plots

HADRAMOUT, Dec. 22 (YPA) – Hadramout tribes sent armed reinforcements to various popular checkpoints in Wadi districts of the province to confront the Saudi-led coalition’s plots.

According to tribal sources, leader of the Islah party, Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar, loyal to the Saudi-led coalition, directed the leadership of the “First Military Region” to open the way for oil tankers by force of arms.

The sources affirmed that “the tribes’ militants are prepared to confront any intervention by Al-Ahmar forces, suggesting that the region will turn to armed confrontations, with the continued intransigence by the Saudi-backed Hadi government” to implement the tribes’ demands.

This comes after local leaders loyal to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council’s militias threatened to close al-Dhoba port and target oil ships on the Arabian Sea’s coast.
